Fearing’s Audio-Video-Security of Madison is interviewing for the position of Sales Engineer/Estimator for structured cabling, security and Audio, Video. Job duties include: 1. Building relationships with general contractors, electrical contractors, and direct customers. 2. Monitoring projects out for bid using iSqFt and other Bid alert programs provided by Fearings. 3. Estimating the projects selected for bid and submitting the bids to the appropriate contractors or customers. 4. Preparing all documentation on successful bids.
Candidates must have: 1) Previous work experience that demonstrates a successful track record in this field with references that can confirm a consistent record of improvement, trustworthiness, and ability to complete assigned duties. 3) Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and prioritize well. 4) A reliable vehicle and capability of extensive travel. 5) An outgoing, determined, and enthusiastic personality and is very comfortable meeting new people and being in unfamiliar situations. 6) Excellent oral and writing skills. 7) Excellent computer skills with experience in using Microsoft Office products.
The following additional skills are preferred but not required. 1. BICSI RCDD 2. AutoCAD experience.

Security Technician experienced in Access Control and Video Surveillance systems. We are looking for an individual who wants to make a serious impact for their company.
The successful candidate must have an electronics background and minimum of 5 years experience in electronic security along with a very stable employment history. This candidate must have an excellent understanding of basic electricity including Ohms Law. They must have a good working knowledge of computers and computer networks, must be proficient at reading blue prints and schematics.

Audio Video Installation and Service Technican Job Opening
Job Description
- Fearing’s AVS seeks a highly organized and process orientated individual to take ownership of assigned projects and ensure their installations meet or exceed estrablished standards. In addition to first rate technical skills, the successful candidate shall possess excellent communication skills enabling them to provide accurate and timely information to management and customers alike.
Requirements Duties and Responsibilities
- Installs and pulls cable as per specifications and code
- Tests all equipment after termination is made to ensure performance of system
- Works in compliance with Company’s safety procedures
- Completes and turns in all paperwork accurately and on time
- Communicates daily with management on job status
- Works with Systems Engineers to ensure complete system compliance
- Performs all work to Company’s standards
- Meets job time estimates
- Ensures complete closeout and turn over of job to the client
Knowledge
- 3+ years working in the commercial audio-visual industry. An intimate working knowledge of professional sound, video projection and recording, and videoconferencing systems is required
- CTS or higher certification prefered
- Proficient in audio DSP programming, loading and testing. Preferably with Biamp, BSS, Rane, DBX and Extron product lines.
- Basic networking and computer skills prefered
- AV control system programming knowledge and experience loading, testing and trouble shooting. Preferably Crestron and Extron systems. Knowledge and certification of these control systems is not essential but would be heavily considered for candidates with experience.
- Must have experience working with commercial video systems, including AV matrixes, distributed AV, video projection and basic video calibration.
- Proper hand and power tool operations and safety
- Ability to read blue prints and schematics
- Ability to wire, adjust, and troubleshoot AV systems
- Proficiency in the use of computers including MSWord, Outlook and Excel
Skills and Abilities
- Must be punctual and arrive for appointments well prepared
- Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities without supervision
- Ability to plan, organize and implement the successful completion of a project by a specific date
- Ability to write simple correspondence and present information in one-on-one and small group situations – excellent communication skills is a must

Sales Representative to sell our audio, video, and security services to the commercial and industrial market place.
Candidate must be from the area and have a proven track record in sales and developing new accounts. Successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a stable employment history. Previous experience with A/V or security sales is preferred but not required. A previous account base from the territory is also preferred but not required. Must have a reliable vehicle, excellent oral and writing skills, and be experienced is using Microsoft Office products.
