Fearing's Audio-Video-Security was founded in June, 1997 as Fearing’s Satellite & Sound, Inc., by owner Douglas Fearing and his wife, Lois. Doug has over 30 years experience in the Electronics industry.

Fearing’s humble beginnings were in a modest 600 square foot facility in Portage Wisconsin. At its inception Fearing’s primary business was residential and commercial satellite systems, residential custom sound, video surveillance, and background music systems for business.
Its early clients included Wilderness, Kalahari, and Chula Vista Resorts in Wisconsin Dells.

Fearing’s grew significantly during its first two years of business forcing it to expand into a new and larger facility. It continued to add product lines and services.
Fearing’s expanded its territory to include Dane County and Central and Southern Wisconsin. |

Expansion to Access Control, Fire & Security Alarm Systems

Fearing’s expanded its product offerings to include Access Control, Fire and Burglar Alarm, Audio and Video Conferencing, and more. At the same time it withdrew from the residential satellite business.
Because of rapid growth in the Dane County and Southern Wisconsin markets Fearing’s added a sales office in Madison in May of 2005. In April of 2009 Fearing’s expanded its Madison operations and moved into a new 6000 square foot facility. All sales, technical support and inventory are now located at this new facility at 722 Walsh Road. |
Fearing’s continues to add products and services to meet its clients ever changing needs. Fearing’s has grown along with its clients and has performed work for several of them out of state encompassing projects in 18 different states. Fearing's dedicates itself to selling only quality products, performing professional installations and service, and doing it all at aggressive pricing. |
