Recent Projects & Client Stories
We are especially grateful for all of our customers.
Not only Zendesk and Marcus, a company to whom we are exceedingly appreciative, and the companies and projects listed below, but the dozens and dozens of other companies and residential customers, big and small, who trust us to design and implement the AV, security and structured cabling systems they need in order to run and grow their own businesses.
We appreciate you, and we truly understand that this is where it all comes down to in the end, for without you –our customers– there would be no Fearing’s AVS.
Kalahari, WI Dells
A massive $35 million dollar expansion to Kalahari Wisconsin Dells Convention Center is now complete.
The 2-year project more than doubles the size of the current convention center from about 100,000 to 212,000 square feet. Fearing's performed the Audio Video, Data/Fiber Cabling and Security work for the convention center.
The work took more than 6,000 hours of labor and is Fearing’s largest project to date.
Zendesk, based in San Francisco, is a company that has been on the forefront of innovation and has valued workspaces that achieve a particular state of corporate zen, all while helping companies deliver exceptional customer service through their cloud-based customer service software.
The Fearing’s team was able to show Zendesk, quite literally, how effective and affordable a direct LED video wall could be. The picture will cut through natural light, there will be no shadow obstruction from people presenting, and it will have a versatility in any presentation or training situation.
An Award Winning Extraordinary Guest Experience
For its work on the this project and others, Fearing's Audio Video Security of Madison WI was named the Vendor of Excellence Award by Marcus Theatres, a division of The Marcus Corporation, at Marcus’ annual Spring Leadership Conference on March 15. Fearing’s Audio Video Security was one of six companies to be honored, including Cloud Industries, J&J Snack Foods Corporation, The ICEE Company, C. Cretors & Company and Lionsgate.
J.H. Findorff has been a greater Madison area builder since the 1800’s and it’s people have always made the difference.
Training the Findorff way is imperative to its continued success. Fearing’s Audio Video & Security was called to help Findorff upgrade the corporate training room for flexibility and using technology help train staff and facilitate various types of meetings plus incorporating video conferencing.
The space also needed to be configured to be divided for two separate rooms when needed.

Private Residential Project
Are you building a dream home?
Our clients built their home on a family owned lot on the shores of Swan Lake, in Portage Wisconsin. For now, the home is a wonderful weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of Chicago, where both clients live and work full time. They wanted a place they could unwind and relax or be able to entertain friends and family. They wanted to be able to monitor and control everything from Chicago.
The SafeHouse, Chicago IL
What is the Password?
Other companies have set up audio, visual, and security systems, but Fearing’s embraced the challenge of doing it all, in an agile way, in a smaller space, and cost-effectively. It’s one part being early adopters of new technologies, one part having more than two decades of service to businesses large and small, and one part providing uncompromisable customer experience.
The owners of The Safe House were looking to create an unique experience, and they partnered with Fearing’s for their record of making audio, visual, and security installations the best experience possible for their clients.
As usual, your install team did a great job and worked a ton of hours to pull this off. I can’t speak highly enough of your team.
